Attitude is everything! Olly Otter, Will Squirrel, Digsby the Mole, Drew the Shrew and their friends have a positive attitude big enough to carry them through any day. They make the most of whatever happens, strong in their friendship. Grab some of their attitude!

Olly Otter starts every day full of optimism and energy. He is happy to enjoy simple things: He plays in the water; he enjoys his food; he enjoys the company of his friends; he enjoys thinking and being creative. His attitude is positive and he believes that positive thought will help overcome the negative in any situation. ‘Smile - it feels better’ is Olly’s motto.

Will Squirrel’s way of being positive is to be organized and think ahead. He knows that it is best to squirrel away a little something to help get through any difficult patches. Will makes little stores of food incase he needs them to help him through the winter; he makes savings which he hides all over the place: ‘Little and often adds up’ is his motto. He checks his little stores regularly, and happy in the knowledge that everything is in order, he spends the rest of his time enjoying life with his friends.

Digsby thinks an active mind is one of the best tools for a happy day. He likes to set himself a challenge, and as he is naturally a miner, the challenge is usually a tunneling one. Digsby has learnt that, for him, there is nothing better than being able to build a network of tunnels linking useful rooms and compartments. He thinks of himself as a creative engineer and builder and can’t wait to show you some of his marvelous ideas. ‘Make it happen’ is Digsby’s motto.

Drew is naturally very energetic. He uses so much energy every day that he has to eat a lot to keep going, which suits him because Drew loves his food. He also loves to be busy: ‘Check it out’ is Drew’s motto. He cannot go past anything without taking a look to see if it could be useful. Taking such an interest in everything gives Drew lots of ideas, which he uses to be creative. He loves being with his friends so he can share his ideas with them.

Trevelyan Newt is very laid back. He lives where the weed is thickest on the day; sunbathes when the sun is out; wraps up warm when it’s cold; watches the world go by. He always has time to chill out with his friends. Trevelyan’s motto is ‘the best is now’.

The ladybirds are proof that the right attitude can count for a lot and make your voice heard even if you are tiny, like they are.

Strawberry the Little Pony is very proud of her mane and tail, which are much admired, long and blonde: some would say too long because when the wind catches it Strawberry has difficulty seeing anything. Strawberry is sweet and gentle and loves to lend a helping hand, which makes her happy. Strawberry also likes a bit of excitement from time to time so you can never quite tell what mood she will be in. She lives in a field full of buttercups.
